They came to you for answers,
We give you the ability to provide them.
Neurobasics is the only service provider that offers both ambulatory EEG in the home and out-patient LTM monitoring in a monitoring center outside the hospital. Surveys have shown that cost savings averaging 50% can be achieved by avoiding a hospital admission. The home/the monitoring center setting is more appealing to patients for more reasons than just the cost. They can remain close to family and loved ones and have a more comfortable easier experience with a long term study.
Make the best choice for EEG monitoring and neurodiagnostics for your practice and for your patients.
We provide you with integrated services to expand your practice diagnostic capabilities.
Neurobasics is the result of more than 2 decades of both clinical diagnostics and equipment system development.
The service line is the result of careful development of a service that is cost effective and adaptable to the needs of individual practices and clients.
Neurobasics enables the practice to offer services to patients as an extension of the practice and a comprehensive neurodiagnostic program. We become part of your practice, not a place or provider to refer your patients to, but a way to eliminate delays in scheduling and the chances of not receiving reports or results of the studies. You also have the data available to you at all times for review/comparison. The options include: ambulatory EEG with video and digital analysis, LTM in an outpatient setting, PSG (sleep) studies and routine EEG. Practices that have sleep study capability in place can add LTM making it possible to do LTM EEG during the day and PSG at night. The same room can be utilized both day and night.
The equipment is provided and the software is the same for all the studies. There is no up-front cost or need to recruit and retain additional staff. All studies are performed by credentialed/registered PSG/EEG technologists. We continually work with physicians and team members to assure complete satisfaction with the service by asking for feedback and evaluation of every aspect of the services, equipment and staff.
Physicians can read their own patients studies or use Neurobasics physicians.
Provide the basics for a more rapid and accurate diagnosis which allows for an effective appropriate treatment plan.
Patients finally have all of the diagnostic tools available to get answers and improve their quality of life instead of going from one doctor to another and making repeated visits to the emergency department.
One recent study revealed that the average time from onset of symptoms to diagnosis was 9 years. Another study demonstrated a significant number of patients especially children were placed on medication for seizures when they did not have epilepsy.
